Repurposed Necklace

Striking mix of old old and new in this repurposed necklace. I have upcycled a metal (bronze tone) vintage belt buckle half (late 19th/ early 20th century) as a statement pendant. Slight wear consistent with age. This is a large rectangular shape, with an enamelled dark blue floral design on an engine turned base. This is suspended on a necklace made up of various new glass faceted beads (various shades of dark and royal blue) and semi-precious dyed impression jasper. All beads are separated with small gold plated spacer beads.  The necklace is fitted with a new gold plated and nickel free lobster clasp.  I have also fitted an extension chain so that you can adjust the length to suit your tastes.
