My Renaissance inspired necklace reminds me of the sumptuous, jewel encrusted jewellery of the 14th and 15th centuries.  A perfect vintage accessory for those who love of historical Romance, drama and intrigue.  I have carefully reworked the centre piece from a vintage brooch;  with wide gold tone metal mount moulded with ornate Baroque scrolls and set with a large red paste stone.  This is surrounded by a border of tiny white faux pearls and an outer irregular border of small deep red stones.  I have hung this on a regal renaissance inspired necklace of red glass facets (new).  There are also gold plated spacer beads (modern) and two small oval fresh water pearls.  I have fitted the necklace with a new gold plated and nickel free lobster clasp.  There is also an extension chain so you can adjust the length to suit your tastes.

For something a little different from the High Street, and always made with ethical principles at heart!
